APO – Optimization

Genetix / APO module is a tool intended to prepare and optimize plans for the distribution of cargo. Optimization involves two basic areas:
  • Route optimization
  • Loading optimization

The system provides tools to generate route plans based on order data.

Distribution plans are generated through optimization algorithms and consider the following data:
  • address data
  • geographical position, road distances, limits
  • time window
  • vehicle payload used, listed by pallets, volume and weight of cargo
  • package dimensions
  • various types of vehicles
  • stand-by hours
  • time window
  • type of order (pick-up or delivery)
  • attributes of cargo
The system allows result verification and entry of corrections, visualisations and current KPI tracking

  • daily, weekly plans
  • entry and calculation of changes in the plan
  • current plan efficiency index
  • route sequencing variants
  • algorithm for vehicle payload planning with various modes of precision
  • integration with digital map, route visualisation, geocoding, distance matrix

Route planning involves the need for solving problems related to vehicle payload use.
Genetix / APO module allows planning vehicle or pallet loading in 3D Based on cargo units (length, width, height, weight and cargo stacking matrix data), the system generates a plan for loading a specific cargo space, such as a vehicle or pallet.

  • algorithm for vehicle payload planning with various modes of precision
  • loading work modes: a specific vehicle or a selection from a list of available vehicles
  • cargo stacking matrix definition
  • module integration with a route planner and stand-alone operation feature
  • option to correct plans by hand in 2D or 3D
